Worm Spring
A downloadable game
You were a memory of violence.
But you chose something else for yourself. No more fighting. No more hurting and being hurt.
Now you need to find out what exactly it is that you are.
Hit the road and head for the horizon. Somewhere out there, you’ll find it.
Worm Spring is a GMless, diceless hack of Delver.
You are monsters who were trapped in a dungeon made of memory. You have escaped and now you must discover who you will be in a world no longer ruled by violence.
You will need: one or more oracle decks and some friends.
What is an oracle deck? A collection of objects (we will call them cards) that you will use as inspiration for this game. You must be able to draw them randomly.
Example Decks:
- some rocks you found in a place important to you
- a tarot deck
- a camera roll
- a Spindlewheel deck
- whatever is in your collective pockets
- a deck of cards
- a pile of dice
- a collection of moons
- a sandwich
- a deck of tcg cards

The Winged King of puppets, frost magic ballerina Old Bones, the characters this game inspires are some of the most memorable of any ttrpg for me. A trick I love is to have each player bring their own oracle deck. To have multiple materials woven through the play.
Also, I love the sense of hopeful sadness this game carries. My playthroughs really stick with me because of how they went into painful feelings in a way that was constructive and positive.
